About Contributions to Local Communities
Kobayashi Kogeisha’s mission is to make positive contributions to local communities, and we engage in various activities to build a sustainable future.
These activities aim to support the achievement of the SDGs and enhance community well-being by preserving culture, protecting the environment, and supporting education.
Specifically, we build strong relationships with local communities through a wide range of projects, from community cleanups and cultural event support to disaster relief donations.

Activity Example 1: “SDGs Awareness Project”
- Overview: Kobayashi Kogeisha is engaged in community-based activities aimed at raising awareness of the SDG targets to be achieved by 2030. In particular, the company holds an annual event, “Otsuka SDGs Xmas,” with the aim of promoting sustainable consumption and production patterns. This event provides an opportunity for local children and their families to learn and practice through craft-making using recycled materials and quizzes on the SDGs.
- Contribution and Impact: The event fosters local community collaboration and enhances understanding of the importance of sustainable behavior, while also promoting Kobayashi Kogeisha’s vision for a sustainable future.

- Overview: Kobayashi Kogeisha donated funds through the Japanese Red Cross Society to support victims of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake that occurred in 2024.
- Contribution and Impact: This support aims to help the people affected by the earthquake return to a peaceful life as soon as possible. By fulfilling our corporate social responsibility, we also aim to gain the trust and support of the local community.
